44K Power Enhancer - Does It Work?

BG44K Review

44K Power Enhancer turned my MOT fail into an MOT pass.

My car was an MOT emissions test failure scoring a CO value of 4.839%, well over the 3.5% limit.

After putting the 44K fuel additive in the fuel tank and going for a 70 mile drive I got the car retested. It scored 3.329% on the CO emissions test which is a pass.

Not bad for a £20 can of fuel additive.

How Did I Use It?

With about 15 litres (4 gallons) of petrol in the tank I poured the 44K fuel additive straight into the tank and immediately put in another 15 litres of petrol. That way the additive mixes well with the fuel.

As soon as I put the additive in I headed for the motorway. I'm told it helps to take the car for a long run to get the engine nice and hot to clean out all the carbon deposits. I drove 25 miles out and 25 miles back. I also did another 20 miles general driving before the MOT retest.

How Does 44K Power Enhancer Work?

As your engine burns fuel it builds up carbon deposits inside the piston chambers, around the inlet and outlet valves of the piston chambers and on the spark plugs.

These deposits stop the engine burning efficiently and so it produces more pollutants like CO (carbon monoxide). The deposits also cause the engine to lose power and the idle speed to run rough.

The 44K fuel additive (BG44K) completely cleans off these hard baked on carbon deposits. It also cleans out the catalytic converter, oxygen sensors and fuel injectors.

Another benefit of removing the carbon deposits is improved fuel consumption. Any money spent on the additive is regained several times over in petrol savings.

Can be used in petrol or diesel.

Tips for Passing Emissions Test

Before taking your car for the test get the engine nice and hot so that it is still hot during the test. The engine will run more efficiently and produce less pollutants.

Make sure the tyres are inflated properly. This can effect the figures as your car is put on a rolling machine for the test.

Change your oil and filter.

Can You Feel the Difference?

Before the additive the car was hard to start and you had to wait 5 minutes for it to warm up and the idle speed to smooth out before driving away.

After 70 miles of driving I could feel the difference. Better starting. More power. Smoother. I would recommend 44K Power Enhancer to anyone who has failed the emissions test.
